Structural Renovations
The purpose of these
photos is to show that a large open room can be built in your
basement, at a reasonable cost, even if it has support columns
that are in the area you would like to use. On this job the
columns were every 8' and they wanted to maximize the basement
recreation room.

Shoring walls in place,
24' of wood beam removed, floor joists notched (to maximize
headroom) to except new steel beam that is to be assembled on
site out of 12" deep U channel steel and 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" angle
iron.

tack wielded together, ready for final welding and hosting
